Raspberry Pi RP2040 Core Module for LoRaWAN with LoRa SX1262 | RAK11310
This new WisBlock Core module gives you the power of the dual core Raspberry RP2040 MCU running with 133MHz. And of course, we added the SX1262 LoRa transceiver chip to open the world of LoRa and LoRaWAN connectivity to this module. Even though this module has no WiFi on board, you can easily add it with the WisBlock Communication module RAK2305.
RAK Unified Interface v3, aka RUI3, is a modular IoT platform that supports a variety of devices and applications to cater to different case scenarios and solutions.
Ever since the IoT MCU RP2040 was announced by Raspberry, excitement was high. Finally, the first Pico breakout boards with the RP2040 MCU arrived and of course the first thing we did at RAK was to connect it to a LoRa® transceiver and add long range communication capabilities to the Pico.
The WisBlock IoT hardware platform just keeps growing and growing. This RAK Autumn Launch event, we are introducing more WisBlock Modules which includes a new WisBlock Core based on the Raspberry Pi RP2040 chip and a new WisBlock Base board that is smaller and low power.
