Hands-on with RAKStars Episode 41 with Johan Macias
During this session, Johan Macias, Developer Advocate at RAK, will be sharing the technical details about the implementation of containers in LoRa/LoRaWAN applications based on the WisBlock ecosystem, as well as all the benefits it brings us as IoT developers. Usually, when implementing a new project, we tend to create a new project folder, copy the basic functionalities previously developed in previous projects, and then implement the new required functionalities. However, this is not efficient and can lead to errors. So the implementation of containers (ready to use project folders) which contain all the basic features ready to use by default would make the development of LoRa/LoRaWAN applications significantly smoother. Just copy the folder or, as we call it, "container," rename it to anything that suits your application, and concentrate on implementing the specific code for your application.
Johan will be sharing how to quickly get started with the implementation of containers in the WisBlock. As a base example, he will share how to deploy a Helium Mapper without the need for coding, just a couple of configurations via Serial or BLE communication, and your WisBlock will be ready to map The People's Network in your region!
